An Overview of My Life Thus Far.

My name is Molly Kathryn Byers, I was born on the 27th of March 1988 to Mark and Beverly Byers. I am the 7th of 8 kids and the 6th girl. When my mom was pregnant with me she had a very rough go of it, she pretty much had to be in bed the full 9 months. She was so sick because of other health issues that the doctor strongly suggested that my parents consider having an abortion for the sake of my moms health. Luckily both my parents are very strong in their convictions and faith that they trusted in Heavenly Father and decided against getting an abortion. When they told the doctor what they had decided he said ok but DO NOT have any more, well I did say I was the 7th of 8 right. Of course this was not an easy or pleasant time considering my mom also had 6 other kids that needed and wanted her attention. I was born at Rangely District Hospital in Rangely Colorado and I lived there until I was 19 years old when I went to Rexburg Idaho to go to school at BYU-Idaho. I moved for the very first time when I was 9 months old, the house my family was living in seemed to get really small once there was 9 people living in it. So my parents found a house that was a couple miles outside of town and have lived there ever since that time. The house that we moved into is a three level house with lots of bedrooms so that we could all fit in nicely. When I was 11 months old I crawling/walking around and fell down the stairs that lead to the basement, the doctor said I was fine and wouldn't have any lasting effects from the fall but I think there are times my family would like to beg to differ. My family has a history have having really bad eye sight and when I was in preschool I ended up having to wear glasses so there are very few pictures of me that don't show me without glasses until my teenage years when I had contacts for a couple years. I ended up wearing my contacts way too much and had to go back to wearing glasses for about 6 years. Starting at my 1st grade year of school my parents decided that they wanted to home school their kids so they pulled 6 kids out at the same time to teach them at home. I was home schooled all the way from 1st grade to 12th grade. Because my parents home schooled all of us we were able take trips that wouldn't have been possible otherwise. When I was 14 we took a three week vacation and traveled around the eastern United States and got to visit many historical sites both American and Church sites. After high school I attended a year of college at the community collage that is in Rangely, after that I applied at Brigham Young University Idaho and was accepted to school there on the Winter/Spring track where I am currently at right now. I started out majoring in theatre and speech education then changed it to child development, but at the present time I am unsure again as to what I want to do with the rest of my life and am now trying to find something else of interest to major in. Life has been interesting thus far and I look forward to seeing what else is thrown my way, this is just a brief overview of my life so far but I will fill in the gaps later.
